Munro & Noble’s Property department update

In response to a large number of enquiries that  Munro & Noble’s Property department has received over the last couple of days regarding the housing market in Scotland. We are pleased to inform you that the housing market remains open. The Scottish Government have confirmed that, across all protection levels, house moves and related activities such as property viewings can continue to go ahead provided they can be done safely and in line with current Covid government guidelines.

Travel between different areas and levels within Scotland is also permitted in order to move house or undertake associated activities, including viewing a property. However, the Scottish Government is asking people to remember that in order to protect the NHS, emergency services and key workers and to contain the faster-spreading virus, that we all minimise such travel as much as possible.  It is advised that properties are viewed virtually in the first instance and you only progress to a physical viewing if you have a serious interest in buying the property. Any reason to travel between local authority area must comply with the exceptions to ‘Travelling around Scotland’.

Stay safe!.
