Munro & Noble is proud to celebrate 20 years of dedicated service from Mary Nimmo, whose career journey with the firm has been nothing short of remarkable.
Mary began her career with Munro & Noble in 2005 as a Trainee Solicitor under the guidance of the firm’s previous Senior Partner, Bruce Miller. She often reflects on this time with gratitude, acknowledging that she owes him a huge thank you for everything he taught her during those early years. Having the opportunity to learn directly from such an experienced mentor shaped Mary’s approach to the law and laid the foundations for the successful career that followed.
Mary has spent her entire professional life with the firm, which also served as her own family’s solicitors. This longstanding connection makes her progression through the firm even more special. Over the years, Mary’s hard work, integrity and commitment to her clients saw her appointed as Staff Partner, before achieving the position of Senior Partner in 2020.
Today, Mary leads our Court Department, representing and advising clients in both the Sheriff Courts and the Court of Session. She is widely respected for her expertise in civil litigation and family law. Mary is known for the compassion and dedication she brings to every case. In addition, she has been appointed as a Court Reporter, Curatrix ad litem and is accredited as an Advanced Collaborative Lawyer, reflecting her standing within the profession.
Mary’s journey – from trainee to Senior Partner – is a testament to her loyalty, skill and the values she upholds. We are honoured that she has devoted her entire career to Munro & Noble and we are proud to celebrate her 20 years of service, leadership and unwavering commitment to our clients.
We look forward to many more years of Mary as our Senior Partner as she continues to shape the future of Munro & Noble.
