Despite the Highland’s not so predictable weather, hundreds of ladies, all in pink turned up to the Race for Life in Bught Park, Inverness. Before the 5K, the heaven’s opened as if to cool us down for the race. If only it happened a little bit later during the very humid run.
We participated in The Race for Life because Cancer Research UK is a charity very close to our hearts. Being there, and listening to the real life stories of what took the ladies to do this event, really brought home how difficult it is to get through a diagnosis. The event clearly shows that everyone is behind you, cheering and supporting through this difficult challenge. It was so overwhelming at the levels of positivity in Inverness on Sunday.
#TeamMunroandNoble decided to run the Race for Life for everyone who has been affected by cancer and their families who suffer watching their loved ones go through the terrible illness. We too have had loved ones who have suffered or lost their fight to cancer.
Having crossed the finish line, all we saw were smiles from the participants who supported each other to make this day special. It was incredible to see all the ladies coming together, running for different reasons but uniting together into on #PinkArmy
We ran, we jogged, we walked and we trotted, but most importantly, WE FINISHED.
#TeamMunroandNoble are proud to announce that we have raised almost £700 for Cancer Research UK by participating in this run.
We are so proud to have helped the charity in raising this amount. However, it is only but a “Personal Best” that we hope to beat next year!
Our Partner, Mary Nimmo said, "On Sunday I watched members of #teammunroandnoble join together to support our loyal staff members fighting bravely against cancer and also to remember some truly inspiration friends and family whom we have lost. Very few are fortunate not to be touched by this in some way. I could not be more proud of our TEAM, Thankyou each and every one and particularly our events planner, the accomplished @jacquelinetweet"
See you all next year for perhaps an even bigger challenge.
OUR GIRLS WILL BE READY.
It is never too late to donate...
