Mary Nimmo - Partner
Mary was born in Helmsdale, Sutherland and educated at Golspie High School. Mary moved to Aberdeen in 1990 and obtained a B.Ed (Hons) with merit. Mary went on to study law at Aberdeen University, gaining an LLB, and successfully completed the Diploma in Legal Practice. Mary then moved back to Inverness and joined Munro & Noble. She successfully completed her traineeship with us and became an Associate with the firm in April 2008, becoming a partner on 1st April 2010.
Mary advises clients in litigation matters and handles cases in both the Sheriff Court and the Court of Session. In particular she deals with civil court matters, personal injury and medical negligence cases along with an extensive range of other issues, including family law.
Mary has been appointed as a Court Reporter, Safeguarder and is a member of the Family Law Association of Scotland and the Committee of Faculty of Solicitors in the Highlands.
